Supporting a positive future for families.

Welcome to Action Pathways Ltd, where our mission is to empower and equip families and educators across New Zealand with the resources and support they need to nurture children’s learning and development. We understand that navigating the world of disability supports and services can be challenging. That’s why we’re dedicated to breaking down those barriers, ensuring that every family has access to the care and assistance they deserve.

Services

special needs coaching

As family are the most significant influence on a child’s development; I work with families to implement changes that have positive results for their situation. My philosophy is based on co-creating positive interventions with families.

disability advocacy

Advocating for yourself can be exhausting, overwhelming or even seem impossible. I am available to advocate for you to access supports and services and/or attend those difficult meetings with you about your child’s needs.

1:1 support

Everyone needs a break sometimes and when you have a child with extra needs this is especially true. Finding the right person can seem impossible and trusting them even harder. Read about my training and experience and my client reviews to see whether my service is right for you.

neuro-diverse resources

Workshops: Live online “Welcoming Neuro-diverse Learners” workshop for groups.

Resources:  There are so many great organisations and resources that it can be overwhelming for families to know where to start or who to approach next. Some key organisations in NZ are listed here, but ideally as each child is different, resources can be provided to match each unique situation.

About Me

Hello, I am Sarah. I started Action Pathways Ltd in response to a need for families to have support to access help and services for their child with learning and/or behaviour needs. There are so many professionals to deal with on the journey of discovering your child’s unique learning style and overcoming obstacles to access the help they need to reach their potential. With my experience and training to guide me, I offer an impartial service to assist families and empower them to have their best life with their child. I believe that every person is unique with a valuablen contribution to make and that we all have strengths and weaknesses and deserve authentic opportunities to grow and thrive. I’m passionate about supporting children to flourish and grow as active learners and believe that relationships are critical to developing a person’s well-being and sense of belonging in the world.
